This book was beautiful and raw in ways I needed to read. I would highly recommend this book.

I liked the poetry in this book, and I think it's technically very well-written, with a good grasp on rhythm. But like what seems to be a lot of reviewers, I found it kind of hard to relate to, and a little self-consciously pretentious.

This was such a lovely collection of poems! I have been following Charly for a while now and was thrilled to see her book in my local library. The poems are divided into four sections: love, madness, body weight (fat), and adulthood. I thought each poem was poignant and reflective of the age group we are in. Some of them honestly really hit home for me, especially as I'm in a season of life where things will for sure be changing soon. I think reading this at the end of a year really was appropriate, haha. Awesome book, highly recommend if you like poetry and are a 20-something.
