wow. i really, really liked this. each story just swept me off my feet and took me along for the ride. "g" and "peking duck" were probably my favorites. this book somehow managed to be unsettling and heartwarming at the same time

This was so good I love Ling Ma! She can be so surreal and real at the same time. My favourite stories were the one with all the boyfriend, G about the floating friends and the last one about her mum.
