4,5 stars!!

This was a pleasant surprise! I've been seeing this book around since 2 years ago or something, especially in university amphitheaters where the students show off their current reads. And to be completely honest, i had 0 interest in reading it

You see, i suck at reading nonfiction. Like, I'd literally rather read anything else. Sadly it's just not a genre that's for me and that's okay, wven tho i do feel shitty for missing out on so many good books just because I'm too lazy to bother. Anyways, this book decided i need to read it no matter what, because my colleague at work had it in her closet and when i asked if it was good, she whipped it out and tossed it at me telling me to read it and find out myself.

Me being me , i just couldn't let a book stay unread once i had it in my grasp, especially when it's borrowed. And so , for 2 months during my bus ride to and from work , I did nothing but read this book. It was one of my favorite experiences this year!!

As an English language major, i was sick and tired of behaviorism and everything related to it. Like literally, i would've punched the next person that mentioned the reward and punishment method or anything of the sort. So it was a shock when instead of losing my mind and flinging the book across the bus, i ended up enjoying and even having existential crisis thanks to what the author was saying! Like he was so straight forward, and his writing made the it easy and fun to follow along the ideas he was getting across. Not to mention that i loved how that what he was talking about was actually applicable in real life , and not just yapping for the sake of yapping.

You know what the most shocking thing tho?? All the things he talked about actually worked!!

Me, a lazy, never in my life exercised person, had actually tried out his method, followed the rules and wrote everything like asked, and it actually 100% worked. I've been constantly going to the gym for 2 months now, and i do cardio and rope jumping every single day of the week, i even started a calorie deficit!!! Wtf ? Is that even me anymore? Shit is crazy bro.

Anyways i really ow this book and author a lot.like truly, i want to say thank you for finally giving me the push i needed to start doing what I've always wanted to do: lose weight and become happy with myself and how i looked. I'm sure i will not forget about this book for a long long time, and I'll definitely get my own copy soon just so i can reread it all over again.
