My first finished self-help book. I really enjoyed Clear’s writing style, conversational yet interesting with references and anecdotes as well as being quite quick to the point. I really liked how it included lots of practical frameworks and application especially with all the website links. Some of advice I was already aware of or wasn’t really something I struggled with but I thought the overarching theme of bettering yourself by 1% each day was wondering. This book was prefect as an end of day wrap up reflection read that doesn’t really have a plot. I also think the title is perfect.

I really loved this book! Unlike a lot of other nonfiction books I've read, this one actually had a very quick pace so I was able to get through it really quickly. This book gives a lot of great practical tips for implementing habits and routines, and the structure was clean and easy to follow.

so this is my first self help book and since I really have no other books to compare it to, overall I would say it was great! It didn’t feel like someone was just telling me to do xyz but rather was teaching the science and psychology behind habits and decisions that we make which made it pretty enjoyable for the most part. some of the stories about Olympians / pro sports / doctors / comedians / average ppl were honestly so cool to read and see how specialized these people are at their jobs all from the power of their habits (and sometimes genetics as discussed). I like how the book broke up these behaviors into the very simple framework for anyone: make it 1)obvious 2)attractive 3)easy 4)satisfying.

This is a book I would prob want to read again someday to reinforce and since I have been feeling a little lazy recently might try and start a few new habits of my own right now. hello sprint triathlon and hello cleaner living space!!!

A good read with actionable advice on how small and positive habits compound over time and can change your life. Also includes examples and stories to contextualize the points being made which helps prevent the book from being a dry read. I do feel like the main points could be put into a book half the size of this however, but worth a read nonetheless.

This book did a great job at taking facts that you’re already intrinsically aware of, and putting them into actionable, easily digestible phrases. Nothing groundbreaking, but helpful, entertaining and encouraging nonetheless.
