This book had me in a chokehold from start to finish. I don't think I can accurately describe how this book made me feel but I'll give it a try. I cried, I laughed, I yelled, I was frustrated as hell! And that ending??? Why Melissa? WHYYYY? And now I have to wait until august for the last book. That is absolutely criminal!

I have loved you through all your bad decisions, I have loved you through all your questionable actions and in this book I have loved you through all of your yearning. Because there was so much yearning. And that redemption arc people were saying you would never have, you had it and it was sooooooo fricking good. If Melissa hurts you in the next one I will be utterly shattered.
Luka, you were perfect. Axel, you need a win soon. Katya, I adore you. Corbin and Lange, you guys are adorable.
And Tessa, wow... Your villain era was perfection. You frustrated the shit out of me but oh my goodness it was exactly the way it should be. I catch myself rooting for you even though I hate your actions. And the crazy thoughts, fricking diabolical!

Loved all of the new twists and world building and plots but holy wow it was hard to follow which lead was getting addressed at times. Loved the new growth and development between the characters. Not a fan of a love triangle but it worked beautifully with these characters. Hoping for a happy ending with the final book but I’m scared tbh

- Tessa is such a dick now, she just constantly wants to hurt everyone but has the nerve to be hurt if anyone words something slightly badly to her. Unsure where she suddenly learned of her destiny that’s constantly talked about. Good twists at the end I need the next one!! Mad how I suddenly care / feel bad for Theon
