LOVED THIS BOOK!!
Learned that I have had no new experiences and there are other twentysomethings going through the same problems and crises as me. Very comforting.
It was separated into Work, Love, and Brain and Body. Really connected with the Work part, knew most of the content about Love and the Brain and Body, but still interesting to read. Very short and quick, I don’t buy books but may buy this to read again.

It's fine, I'm 29 which is a little late to read a book about making the most out of your 20s. I found some things are useful while others are dated (the book was published in 2012), or condescending rather than constructive. Turning 30 doesn't mean that suddenly you need to have your career, love life, and psychology in order, you should have it somewhat put together but she really pushes away "having fun and living it up while you're in your 20s" and getting more serious about life but not having any fun. My philosophy is to find a balance, I agree, the 20s suck, even more in this decade, paying loans, paying into your retirement to maximize your benefits, while finding your forever love all while at your lowest point and lowest pay of your life is hard, but find a balance and have some fun while you're at it. All good things come with time.
2.5 stars… some helpful information and interesting stories but overall felt preachy and condescending and made a lot of sweeping and often problematic generalizations and assumptions
I genuinely liked this book.
The advice about staying on the move and not taking an extended pause resonated with me, especially because I felt anxious and stuck in my life very recently. The book emphasizes that we learn and grow by doing, and this helped me realize that action, even small steps, is key to overcoming feelings of stagnation.
The book was recommended to me by a very good friend who found some good bits of advice. With similar mindset and regards to twenties being very confusing and lovely at the same time, I recommend reading this book as a comforting thought - we all go through this and we can figure it out in the end.

"The one thing I have learned is that you can't think your way through life. The only way to figure out what to do is to do - something."

Thought provoking book about living intentionally. Interesting info about fertility and brain plasticity while young. In general, I found the book to be the kick in the pants I needed to be more intentional about the two things that humans spend the most time on and that can drive the most satisfaction: romantic relationships and career.
This woman doesn’t value friendship but aside from that I guess it was like a prolonged lecture on getting your shit together — which isn’t necessarily a bad thing
Did not enjoy. I'm not a fan of reading self help books that solely focus on others' perspectives and comment on their lives.

still in celebration of reaching 500 books logged on Goodreads! (and my early adulthood)
i'm a 23-year old who never date, introverted, and low on conscientiousness.
i like this book. it motivates and empowers me in a good direction. it reminded me to not take time for granted. i'd recommend this book to all people in their twenties.
but, I don't like how it puts people in their twenties in the same box, stereotyping people, etc
I still think people make their own life and will thrive at their own time.
now is the time for me to find out what i'm good at and there is no time to waste
