Can’t believe I never reviewed this book.

5/5 stars. Reread it recently and wanted to reflect on my original review to find out I never reviewed if

DID NOT FINISH

Wasn't feeling the self help vibe of this book, maybe it wasn't the right time but it didn't feel like it really lined up with being a student currently.

Recommended to me by my 22 yo daughter who felt the book had applicable life lessons for all ages. I appreciated the research/data interspersed. The biggest decision you will make in your life is who you marry. Lots of great advice about work/career choices, love, and body/brain. The author is a therapist so much of the book includes antidotes with her clients

This is the third time I’ve read this (as a non-rereader this is a big deal). It is such an impactful and straightforward text about how to make the most of a very liberating/ terrifying time in our lives. I recommend this to everyone in their 20’s and wish I had read it sooner.

This book is kind of like a punch to the face, but in a good way. Perhaps an obvious punch to the face was something I needed spiraling as an early twenty-or-something myself. I don't know if it was because of the book and it's teachings directly, but a lot of things have been looking up in my life recently. Things get better. You just need to push for them.
