I really enjoyed this book. Andrea (Drew) and Grayson were loveable characters.
I loved how Grayson was always so protective of Drew and how she kept the coaster all those years. I really felt for Grayson, not only for his PTSD but also him not feeling deserving of Drew. Everyone in town was so down on him and to make matters worse, Drews father made his dislike of Grayson well known. Not only did Grayson feel undeserving but he felt responsible for Danny's death. The reason I didn't give this book more stars is that I felt it was rushed toward the ending. It was great to see Grayson get some closure from Danny's journal and finally understand that he was always deserving of Drew from reading Drew's father's letter. It just seemed like after Grayson decided to come back and be with Drew that he was just "poof" better from PTSD and his other mental struggles. I feel like there was more depth throughout the book and the ending was just thrown together last minute. It would have been great to see Grayson's and Drew's wedding from their POV and not just a quick description as well as more of Grayson's journey to healing.
Tropes:
* Brother's best friend
* Ex-military/PTSD
* Age gap
* Small town
* Second chance

Sweet and beautiful. Intense and emotional. This story is everything I am looking for in a romance and more. I was completely captivated from page one. I am always a sucker for second chances and this is definitely now a favorite of mine. I loved these characters and this story. It is one that will stay with me for a while. I can't wait to read more from Tia Louise.

Many things I liked. Others I didn't. This author is always a one click for me. This book was not my favorite but was still good. It was just missing something for me to fully connect with it. Even though it isn't my favorite, I'm sure it will be for someone else.
Looking forward to what's next for this author.

Make You Mine is a brother’s best friend, second chance and military romance, all tropes I enjoy a lot! From the moment I saw the blurb, I was quite eager to read this book! Tia Louise crafted a heartfelt story of perseverance and healing that is truly charming!
The connection between Drew and Gray is so tangible in every single interaction and the devotion they show toward each other is inspiring. The years spent apart while Grayson is oversea with the army aren’t easy, but the love they share is too profound to let this forbidden romance stop. When Gray comes back in town years later, he isn’t the same man though. He’s haunted by the traumatic event that happened and it leads to some insecurity and feeling of low self-esteem.
The romance is gorgeous and the chemistry is so intense between this couple! They can be so sweet together, but also provide some very steamy moments! Patience is the key in their relationship with Gray struggling from PTSD, but their beautiful love is the key. There’s back and forth in their love story, but their feelings are always are so clear!
Tia Louise assuredly penned here a lovely story with a couple fighting adversities to finally have the future they want! Both have some demons to fight, but together they're better. Make You Mine is not to be missed!

I have enjoyed several books by Tia Louise, and Make You Mine was pretty much all of my favorite tropes rolled into one so I couldn’t wait to read it! Not only is this on the forbidden side being a brother’s best friend romance, but he is a military hero and they come from very different circumstances. I couldn’t put this book down, drawn in from the first page I read well past my bedtime to finish it.
Drew Harris and Grayson Cole were drawn to each other from the start. As kids, he was there for her when she needed him, though her father never approved of him. Not only was he believed to be not good enough for her, but he was older as well. But even though Gray tried to stay away, things between them were more than they could fight. When Gray left after joining the military, Drew vowed to wait for him. But the Gray that returned home is nothing like the boy that left her behind four years ago.
I loved these two. I felt their connection right away, and it was so strong. It was real and genuine, the kind that is rare and unbreakable. I loved seeing them form the connection over years and many events that happened. There was no insta-love here and for that I was grateful. These two had always felt a pull towards one another and it was easy to see they were meant for one another. Gray was strong and a good man, and I felt so much for him. He cared so much about those in his life. Drew was sweet and had a great heart, she knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to stick with it. I loved her character and felt like she was easy for the reader to relate to. Not only did these two have an undeniable connection, but the chemistry between them was off the charts hot. These two had absolutely everything going for them, and it was impossible not to root for them.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and the characters. I think readers will really enjoy this one. There were a few things here that I wish had been a bit different, but they didn’t stop me from enjoying the story or being able to finish. Tia Louise is a great writer and I will definitely be looking for more from her in the future, especially Make Me Yours which is Drew’s best friend Ruby’s book.

Just okay
Angsty, HEA, contemporary romance. While I did enjoy this book (super steamy), I wasn’t crazy about Drew, the main female character. I can’t pinpoint exactly what I don’t like about her, but there’s just something. Maybe a little immaturity? And the fact that he ghosts her AGAIN and she’s just this pathetic girl texting him continuously and waiting for him to one day come back to her. I get why she waited for him in the military, but why wait when he turns his back and ignores you? Have a little backbone girl. And she just opens her legs right back up to him the moment he shows back up after 6 weeks of no communication. I also didn’t like the fact that so much importance was placed on financial status. I get wanting to not be with some low life that can’t keep a job, but Drew never acted like money was an issue but then in the end she’s trying to tell her dad to like Gray by saying “he’s rich now, he can take care of us”. Maybe the author didn’t mean it in that manor, but again, girl you are a grown woman and a therapist, and you try convincing your dad to like him by talking about how he’s rich now. No.

What a heartache!, I love this story so much, but the emotional rollercoaster got to me in the best way. Gray and Drew had an amazing story, strong love and connection, but they struggled to find themselves again. The angst was everything in this story.
This book hit me with all the feels! Be sure to have tissues handy when you read this book!
Tia hit it outta the park with this one! I was hooked right from the start and didn’t want to put it down!! I am a military wife myself so I have a soft spot for military romances. But the writing and how the story flowed was just wonderful. She touched on a lot of serious issues in today’s world and it opens your eyes on it all.
I cannot wait for Remi and Ruby’s story to come out!
