Yeehaw MF. This series just keeps getting better. Grumpy cowboy single dad and fiery confident nanny. Summer and Rhett from Flawless are great supporting characters and I loved getting a peak into their relationship again. Willa, Summer’s best friend and Cade, the eldest Eaton boy have a a tension filled and sexy summer at Wishing Well Ranch while Willa takes care of Luke, Cade’s son. There are so many soft and funny moments between Willa and Luke. I loved this and cackled multiple times.  Cant wait for Jasper’s story.

“And I realize in that moment maybe I am heartless after all, because the beautiful girl with the copper hair grinning back at me right now is the one who stole it.”

“I don’t care. Don’t you get it? I’m in love with you, Willa. Prickly legs, random carrots in your purse, pregnant, not pregnant. I want you.”

“Beg.”
“Pardon me?”
“You heard me.”
Her lips don’t even twitch. She’s not joking at all. “Beg.”

I wanted to read this book because Elsie Silver is adored all over the book community, I love finding new authors and I enjoyed Flawless. I love romance and cowboys. I wanted to know more about Willa and Cade from the sneak peek we got from the first book. This story was heartbreaking, hot and adorable.

This book has two points of view. The first is Cade Eaton, he is the oldest brother in the Eaton household, he is the responsible one and the one who makes sure the ranch is still running as well as looking after his family. Cade doesn’t have any hobbies anymore and is only wanting the best for Luke his son, as he is a single father. But he has needed more help with Luke as his father cannot keep up with Luke and the nanny that raised Cade and his brothers also can’t keep up with Luke. The second point of view is Willa Grant, she is wanting a change this summer. Her brother has shut the bar to do a renovation and her horse is injured so she can’t do her horse-riding competition. So, when her best friend invites her to her house on the ranch for a few months to work with her brother-in-law for two months on a babysitting gig, she accepts thinking it will be an easy ride. But her employer is the grumpiest single dad she’s ever met, but Willa can’t keep her eyes off him. And he can’t keep his hands off her. Cade might be thirteen years older than her, but when there is a hot tub and a game of truth or dare, then all bets are off the table. Someone convinced Cade that he was not good enough for love, Willa wants to convince him otherwise.

This series is so addictive, I didn’t think that cowboy romances could be this addictive, but I wanted to just devour this book. This book was so trauma-based but also fun and flirty. I loved the romance between Cade and Willa and how Cade didn’t want to cross the line, but Willa was literally not wearing underwear just to wind him up. I love the Eaton family, if they would like to adopt me that would be perfect because I loved the family dynamic and how they were all doing innuendos just to wind Cade up and how they all knew that something had happened between Cade and Willa and was just having a blast to take the piss. I love Kip and how much of a shit-stirrer he was, but he was also truth-talking the second things got difficult. I loved that Willa was so damn petty and her protecting Luke like her own including pushing some kid into a pool for being a brat to Luke (that is going to be me with my nephew).

I still don’t like Winter, she sorts of grew on me in this book, but her appearance and the ending, just drove me nuts a bit. I just didn’t see the point of the third-act conflict like surely you knew what was going to happen.

I love that Elsie has practically introduced all the characters that are going to be in the series, and it was a solid second book and I cannot wait to carry on this series.

OH. MY. GOD. If the first book was five stars, this one has got to be one million stars.

I DEVOURED this book. Howwwww am I supposed to wait several weeks between the re-release of the last three books?! HOW?! I need them now.

I fell in love with each character, and Luke simply melted my heart. I did not predict that little plot twist, but it made me so fucking happy. And bless Elsie Silver for not throwing in a third act breakup.

This was utter perfection, simple as that.
