Super cute. Love the illustrations. For being a short book it does well telling a fully rounded story. I could see this being a good read aloud with kids

I adored this wonderful spooky middle grade novel! The characters and halloween-inspired world were well fleshed out, and had a nice moral about making friends. I already have the second on hold at my library, while the third installment is sitting on our new books shelf. I just hope I can read it before it gets checked out.

OMG I loved this so much. Who says middle grade can't be adored by adults as well? This was so much fun and the illustrations were brilliant. I'm going to order the rest of this series and binge this one Saturday soon. So, so good.

This was a tremendously fun read! It was hilarious (The GBBO reference got me!), and I really enjoyed the themes of friendship. The illustrations were GORGEOUS, and I think the concept and world was richly imagined and brilliantly executed. Would thoroughly rec this for early middle grade readers, and I can't wait to read the next one!

This is my new favourite serie :D It was hilarious, I laughed so much. The world of Nocturnia is great, all the details, all the great, funny, creepy/cute characters. I loved it.
