I loved this book it was a mix of good feeling memories but also a sad and broken character going through life.

Second time I read this. I didn’t think I would like it, it was ok the first time, but I actually enjoyed it. I think it was about 3 stars last time.

A very readable book, I powered through it in a day. While the reveal sure was something, it didn't make up for the rest of the book leaving me a little underwhelmed and a times annoyed.

I think that's partly due to very much not being the YA demographic anymore, I found parts of it a bit too over the top and melodramatic. I probably would have liked this a lot more at 14 than I do at 31.

Even though it didn't work for me, I can see myself recommending it to the teenagers in my life.

Started and finished date - 22.12.24 to 24.12.24.
My rating - Two Stars.
I think this book better then the disreputable history of Frankie landau banks by E. Lockhart but I didn't love it and the cover of book was boring. Both the atmosphere and the writing was okay and the paced of plot was fine. I didn't like the twist in this book and I have mix feeling about characters.
