Starts off well, but feels too long. Nothing happens in the middle of the book
4⭐️ Super funny. I loved the banter between Lane, the grumpy blind detective and Felix, his sassy care-taker.
There was a lot more action plot and humor than romance but it was cute and perfect if you want a sweet read with lots of laughs.

Love this couple
Felix and Lane are now a favourite couple, I love how they interact from the way Felix refuses to treat Lane differently because of his injuries to how much Lane not only enjoys it and gives as good as he gets.
The action is immediate and constant, it keeps you guessing throughout. The characters are so well written and the banter will make you laugh out loud. I can't wait for more so diving in to book 2 now.

Hilarious. Very light and heartwarming for a book with crime in it. A bit of fresh air after a lot of angst I'd read before this. I also love the fact that Felix is so short lmao

I loved how casually Felix stole a dog and how good Lane is in a fight despite being blind. It's gonna be fun watching these two get on an adventure again.
Reread 04/2020: Got my hands on the audiobook and I HAD to listen to it straightway. Loved it just as much as first time and Joel's performance was so entertaining. I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.
