Cute in the beginning due to the author's sheer joy at writing a continuation of the original trilogy, but overall not great.

I did not appreciate the injection of Christian symbology and ontology, since the series by Liu Cixin stayed mostly away from that. It felt like Baoshu was recycling stories and information already present in my consciousness, rather than presenting an original mindbender like Liu.
