Enjoyable reader reunion with the Kopp sisters! Novel based upon real life newspaper clippings and famiy interviews. This time we follow Fleurette. It 1919 and WWI is over. The sisters are reunited at the funeral of their brother. They become determined to do all they can to help support his widow and children. Fleurette takes on work for a lawyer, helping to provide evidence for divorce cases. A fascinating look at the early 20th century in the American North East and the societal mores of the time. So excited to learn that while the author takes a break from writing the next in the series, she does have more historical detail to draw from the Kopp sister legacy into the next decade of their lives.

Serendipity made me become a fan of the Kopp Sisters series and I'm never disappointed.
This is another well written and gripping story, it starts slowly but there's plenty going on.
The author delivers a portrait of an age when women were considered inferior and the Kopp sisters are strong willed woman who are able to overcome the difficulties.
I had fun, loved the notes at the end of the book and can't wait for the next one.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Yay, it was great to have a book focus on Fleurette, the youngest sister.

The two previous books in the series (#5 and #6) were lacking in originality and interest for me. But the spark returned in Miss Kopp Investigates (#7). It was satisfying to hear the unique perspective of the youngest Kopp "sister," Fleurette. While I am not a seamstress, I always enjoy the descriptions of fabrics and costumes that Fleurette works with in her various modes of employment.

This book focused exclusively on Fleurette’s perspective—because she had the most interesting story for this time period, I’m guessing! I missed Constance’s perspective but am guessing what will follow in the succeeding books that we’ll return to her, or at least return to the alternating perspectives of Dear Miss Kopp. I was glad to see Fleurette maturing and even performing (mostly) secret acts of altruism she didn’t seek praise for, and the return of Sheriff/Officer Heath. And thrilled to read in the historical notes that Amy Stewart has enough historical information to take the Kopps through the 20s, considering it’s taken 7 books just to cover 1914-1919! Really enjoy Stewart’s writing style and the fictionalized adventures of the Kopp sisters.
