This series is giving me Game of Thrones and I'm eating it UP. However that does make me so anxious to finish the series. But the characters are incredible. I don't know who I'm rooting for outside of the main protagonist, and I'm worried she won't end up happy (because oh my god nobody does in this world!!). But I'm attached to every one of them and am loving how the series is building.

I guess it says something that I’m not liking how the story is progressing, I’m not a fan of Nahri/Ali, and I dislike all the characters except Dara, but I still enjoyed this.
