This was such a satisfying end to a totally original trilogy. Whenever I try to explain this trilogy to anyone who hasn't read it, it sounds totally ridiculous but if you haven't read it you should give it a go!
I was happy to have much more scenes with Perry and Aria together in this book and I will definitely miss them now this series is over!

Love this series. Love the characters and ending. Love that the villain is a really bad guy, makes the story more real. A lot of action and funny one liners. Love story isn't too cheesy and the friendships are amazing. Sad it is over, but I can finally sleep now. Loved all three books, which doesn't happen that often in a series.
Update: 4,5
I read again this book. I don't know what I like about this trilogy, but I had accepted that at least once a year, I'll re-read these books. This is my comfort re-read!
It isn't the best but I love it! I had read this whole trilogy 4 times, and I still love it! I don't even know why, and I don't care that much. I enjoy reading it, and that's it.
Read it if you want to. At this point, my opinion is beyond subjective and not at all based on real fact. It's based on personal feelings, so I'm biased. I know that there this book has its weakness, but I don't care.
Still in love with Roar (and thinking that Aria and Roar should have ended together).

Still in love with Roar (and thinking that Aria and Roar should have ended together).
Exciting, heart wrenching and breathtaking. These were what I've thought of this earth-shattering conclusion to Veronica Rossi's trilogy. Aria and Perry overcame their differences, the resistance of the tribe to their relationship and distance. And now their facing their worst fears as they near their journey into the Still Blue.
“Fear is dangerous. It sparks violence much faster than anger.”
Never thought I’d say this but after reading this bittersweet conclusion, Aria and Perry became one of my favorite couples, and Perry and Roar’s friendship was now one of my favorite bromance(brotherly love). I saw how these three characters developed and improved and I must say that Rossi did a good job with these three. I also loved the platonic relationship between Aria and Roar, and how they were perfect as a boy-girl bestfriend. It proved that holding hands and bear hugs doesn't always meant intimacy, that sometimes it also brought comfort that words can not. I am so glad I got myself to finish the trilogy. This finale just showed me that teamwork is always possible especially if the world is ending. They crossed a lot of impossibilities and doubts in this story, they proved that everything can be bendable(is that even a word?).
“We all have the potential to do terrible things. But we also have the potential to overcome our mistakes.”
I was so into this book I found myself tearing up in some parts if the story. The love and friendship wasn't something hard to notice, and if it were possible I’d love to meet Aria, Perry and Roar. They faced grief and down moments without having any thoughts of giving up. Rossi did a good job making her characters feel connected with the readers, it felt as if I was with them every single time. I wanted to fist bump with Roar, tie Aria’s hair, and comfort Perry, AND murder Sable and let him bleed to death. Of course Aria and Perry never failed to cause flutters in my heart. This book wasn't just all about them being lovey-dovey, it showed their growth as a couple, as pair and partners. As leaders for the Outsiders and Dwellers. It was as if they were meant to be in each other’s life because they were the change the world was waiting for. The deviation that showed us that blood and tribe doesn't matter with love. Love crosses all boundaries even death and other impossibilities. They had issues and they weren't whiny, just being together was what made them fine even if they weren't really fine(yep, I know, ironic.)
“We have to tell each other the little things, the bad things. Maybe they’ll hurt for a while, but at least they won’t become big things. If we don’t, we’re just going to keep hurting each other. And I don’t want to do that anymore.”
This book had a lot of heartbreaking scenes though.
“Maybe his grief was like her wounded arm. Slowly healing. Gradually becoming les consuming as life delivered other worries and other joys. Other sources of pain and happiness. She wanted that for him. More life. More happiness.”
I am happy to say that I liked this conclusion, it was action packed, exciting and bittersweet. I was sad to see a few goodbyes but nevertheless it was good. It was touching and I had a great time finding Still Blue with Aria, Perry and Roar. I had to warn you though, not everyone may like this series but once you tried this you’ll notice the characters changing your mind with how you view this book. I cried, laugh and cringed with this book and I don’t regret picking up this series. I can't deny that I learned to love this series despite the disappointments I met when I started this series. Rossi did a good job with her characters and I have to applaud her for that. Reading this series was like Aria and Perry’s journey into the Still Blue, full of ups and downs and unexpected events, but full of love and strong bonds of friendships towards the end.

Spoiler
(WARNING: SPOILER ALERT) Cinder had to be sacrificed and Roar had to continue his life without Liv. Honestly, I wasn't convinced that Liv really died after reading the second book. I was hoping for a twist or a miracle that would suddenly make her alive and appear again. Nevermind the fact that I really want to know her more, but my heart really bled for Roar in this book. Everyone had their way of grieving and he misunderstood Perry’s way. He thought he was alone in missing Liv and his heart was full of anger and revenge. All throughout their journey to the Still Blue, he was blaming himself for everything that had happened to Liv and Perry.“Maybe his grief was like her wounded arm. Slowly healing. Gradually becoming les consuming as life delivered other worries and other joys. Other sources of pain and happiness. She wanted that for him. More life. More happiness.”

I lowkey need part 4 this is my favorite series EVER.
I'll keep it short-
This is the most beautiful mix of off 'can take care of myself' badass female lead, love,danger/adventure and friendship.

I felt this was a good ending for the series. It wasn't earth shattering or ground breaking, but it ended on a happy note.
The climax was a bit anti-climatic. I was left saying "wait that's it?" there was no major fight so it was kind of disappointing.
I also would have liked to understand the Aether better and know more about Cinder abilities and Aria's mom's role in the whole genetics thing with Cinder. More about Loren and other minor characters.
It was at times predictable to me, but there were still scenes that surprised me and that I didn't see coming.
BUT overall there was a happy ending with the main characters ending up together and that's all I wanted! (:

Into the Still Blue was everything I was hoping for.
After loving Through the Ever Night I had very high expectations for this one. And I wasn't disappointed. Veronica manages to write a satisfying yet very belivable ending to the trilogy with the precise amount of action and emotions. This book was very satisfying and well written and the only reason it wasn't a five star read for me is because it didn't blew me away like the second one did.
Nonetheless, Veronica's writting style has improved tremendously throughout this series and I will definetly be picking up her next works.

Veronica Rossi's writing has improved with every single book in this trilogy. As has her ability to weave plots - so many times this novel had me laughing one minute and in floods of tears the moment I turned the page. Though it wasn't ideal considering half the time I was reading this in public whilst on holiday. I absolutely flew through this book.
It's very rare that I'm completely satisfied with a finale book but I can't think of anything that I wasn't happy with in this one. I mean certain events left me bawling but they were necessary. The pace of this book felt more consistent than the first two, there were never really any slow points and it constantly had me on the edge of my seat... or rather sun lounger.
I'm incredibly sad that I've finished this series, I fell head over heels for Aria, Perry and Roar... mainly Roar if I'm honest. I wasn't a huge fan of Perry and Aria to begin with but the way they've developed over the series was wonderful. I think I say in every review how much I prefer flawed characters, the ones that have some growing to do. They feel more real.

For the most part the core group worked well together. Perry created a team consisting on Aria, Soren, Roar, Brooke and Jupiter with the objective to break into Sable and Hess' base. Veronica Rossi clearly loves playing with familial relationships, considering what happened with Perry and Vale and now between Soren and his father. Admittedly, it makes for excellent reading.
In this novel Roar was still trying to come to terms with the loss of Liv, a death I don't think anyone was prepared for. As a result during the mission to infiltrate the base Roar ran from the group on his own mission. Vengeance. This was a pivotal moment in the book and written masterfully. Roar left, so Aria got shot and virtually lost the use of her arm, Perry and Cinder both got captured. Now, not only was Roar angry he was consumed with guilt - and rightly so. This series more than most seems to play on the snowball effect. One things leads to another and so on and so on. If Roar hadn't run off the most harrowing part of this novel may not have come into play.
Cinder's Death. I'm still not happy but I understand why it happened. I am thankful that we got to know more about Cinder and his part in getting to the Still Blue. I also loved how they named the new city at the end of the novel Cinder. It was the perfect way to close out the trilogy.
This is without question one of my favourite trilogies. .

We first meet everyone again hiding in a cave attempting to shelter from the ever worsening Aether Storms. By everyone I mean dweller and outsider alike...which as you can imagine made for some rather interesting dynamics. This was one of my favourite parts of the novel, I loved the snarky comments. Particularly between Soren and Brooke - I knew something was going to happen between them. Perry was already a leader but this arrangement essentially forced Aria into becoming a voice for the dwellers, a responsibility she took very seriously. And that she did well with. For the most part the core group worked well together.
