3.5. Bumped up for the overall quality of the series. It's rare to find a series that's good until the end. This one was very consistent. I liked the ending. I like the final name of the new settlement. I feel like roar could have been happier but it's a start.
Meh.
Is it me, or did Perry, Aria and Roar became secondary characters ?
Was not convinced by this 3rd book.

Perfect perfect perfect. I wish Rossi would revisit this world and tell us about what happens next, even if it’s just a little fluff novella. I want to know what happened to everyone.
Aria and Perry are finally together but the storm hasn't passed yet. The Aether is getting worse; tensions are rising between the Dwellers and the the rest of the Tides; and Cinder has been kidnapped by Sable and Hess. Within a few chapters Perry makes the decision to take a small team to go and rescue Cinder. He belongs to the Tides and is also the only one who can take them to the Still Blue. Aria, Perry, Roar, Brooke, Soren, and Jupiter set off together and come up with a plan. However, since they're attempting to storm a heavily guarded compound filled with both Sable and Hess' men, the plan doesn't exactly go according to plan.
Although a lot of the book actually takes place with Perry, Aria, and the others being held captive by Hess and Sable the plot flows quickly and it doesn't drag at all. This is literally the last chance for everybody to reach the Still Blue: the Aether storms worsen each day and the Tides are running out of supplies so everything that is done is this book counts - there are no wasted moments. So yeah, the plot is pretty good - it pulls you in and then you're absorbed, uncaring to what is actually going on around you :) .
Roar, Aria, and Perry are the three main characters and I love each and every one of the. All of them are hurting, especially with Perry and Roar morning the loss of Liv, but they soldier on and fight for the safety of their people. In the beginning it seems like Roar and Perry's friendship has been ruined for good but over time they manage to work things out, talk, and their relationship becomes fixed. Aria and Perry also have bumps in their relationship but they have learned from past mistakes and know that the only way they will get through anything is by talking to one another. I am so happy that neither of them try and keep secrets or hide their emotions away because it never works. As well as the relationships being strong, the characters are strong too. All three of them know the risks of their actions but they are fighters and they fight to the end.
Like the other books in the series, Into the Still Blue is written from both Aria and Perry's POV, alternating with each chapter. In some books alternating POV annoys me but it definitely works in this. It's nice to see into the guy's head instead of always being in the girl's, but Aria and Perry are two different people, each with different responsibilities, so it is useful to know what Perry is going through - it makes it easier to understand him and his role as Blood Lord.
In the end the characters have their happy ending but it isn't without sacrifice. There are characters which I would have loved to see through to the end but no war is won without casualties. Veronica Rossi did an excellent job with the characters and I am sad to see them go.
Although I think that the first two books in the series were better than this one, Into the Still Blue was a great conclusion to the series. On the whole, the three books have a unique plot with characters which you cannot help but love. Roar, Perry, and Aria are all amazing characters and I am having a few problems letting go :) . Even though I would consider this as dystopia I would still recommend it to fantasy and romance lovers - read these books!

This one was definitely the most action-packed and exciting book in the series. I was actually kind of worried about how things would work out, so I finally started to get kind of invested in the series! Cinder is the most adorable character in the whole series, and I just love him.
I'm glad I finally read this series so I know what all the hype was about back in the day. They were all really quick to get through, and definitely worth the read. I won't reread these, but I'm glad I gave them a shot.

Got to admit this trilogy was okay and it on a good note and I wasn't disappointed with it either needless enjoyed Aria & Perry's character development throughout each book as their relationship was a slow burning one so no instant love insight which was good.
A summery for Into the Still Blue:
Worlds kept them apart. Destiny bought them together,
Outside the dome of Reverie, Aria and Perry are struggling to keep their people from tearing each other apart. Their situation is desperate and, with the Aether storms worsening, time is running out for them to rescue Cinder from Hess and Sable.
Cinder is both the key to unlock the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, so Aria and Perry assemble an unlikely team to attempt a daring rescue mission. They know that in a dying world, the bond of friendship is what matters the most.
This book was a very easy and quick read and well it was tough to put this book down to be honest but hey wanting to find out how it would end with intense chapter endings well it didn't disappoint me and I will admit I was very apprehensive about these books to begin with but they where by no means bad thankfully but I wouldn't mind a companion book to the trilogy maybe a prequel? I'd love to learn what went down before Aria came into the story and have some more backstory of Perry that would be awesome no seriously it would be but I doubt I'll ever get my wish for a book just about Perry but still I can hope right?

When life puts you down read this heartwarming story
I fell in love with the first word of each book. With the challenge of love and saving family especially the ones who mean more to you than blood, you will find that Aria and Perry and Roar love each other to death thorough tough times and what seems like death they always come together in the end. No matter what that man Sable did to them they got stronger as a family and stronger as a tribe.

This was an awesome ending to a series; everybody gets a conclusion and there is hope for more on the horizon.
It's probably been about 2 or 3 years since I've read the second book in this series so I was very surprised at how easily I fell back into the world Rossi had created, especially considering I couldn't remember who half the characters were.
Basically, right from the beginning, this book starts with action that doesn't stop until you finish reading its final pages. My heart was pounding and it felt like I was nearly sweating just from reading what the characters had to go through.
That being said, it'd be so cool if Rossi did a spin-off series from these books that continued the storyline about twenty years from where this one ended. I would so be into reading that.
