Three days.
That's how long ot took for me to finish this series. During this time I have been pissed, thrilled, bored and happy.
I never intended on reading these books, to be honest but, they kept showing up in my recomendation feed. So I thought "Why now give it a try?"
And I'm glad I did. I just loved the first book. I did, it wasn't boring at all. If anything it was amusing and thrilling.
And Roar. I just love Roar. Who doesn't love Roar? Roar reminds me of Kenji from the Shatter me Novels by Tahereh Mafi. (And I love Kenji too)
But back to the point.
The first book amazed me, so naturally, I expected the same thing when I picked up the second book.
Though it wasn't bad, it wasn't good either. I understand that Perry and Aria had to spend some time apart, not only to make life easier for the Tibes but to figure out if their love is strong enough to surive seperation, I still couldn't shake off the the boredom sometimes.
But it wasn't that bad. I had Roar to brighten up the whole dullness. I've read books that have been so boring that I've just have to stop reading them on the spot. But not this one.
These books still kept my interest.
I would have given this book a five star rate but I felt like it didn't quite deserve that.
Sometimes I just had to shimread through it all. And soon it wasn't the content that made me finish the book, it was just to get to the end.
Now before you light your torches and come after me to burn me on a stake, let me explain.
After a certain time, I can't handle reading nonsense. We all got an good idea of what kind of man Sable is. We know Hess quite well too. And at this point we kind of know everyone...
So why did it take so damn long to finish the book?
I mean, I get that Sable had to be alive for a special deal and all but still... Why expand the time so much when they were locked up?
That got to me, though I understand that it was an important time for Aria, I still didn't feel fully satisfied.
And I still didn't get an answer about the whole "Scires can only mate with pureblooded" thing.
So was Aria pureblooded? I thought she was half Savage and half Dweller? Or did maybe I've misunderstood and it meant that Scires could only mate with people who have special gifts? - Since Aria is an Aud?
I don't know. But.
The book still get a four star rating and that is still good.
And though, my negative comments about somethings, I truly recomend these books.
This isn't my best review but bare with me, I've just finished the book and need time to comprehend everything.

What a great ending to such an amazing trilogy!
There’s no straggling in this book. Veronica Rossi picks up right where we left off in Through the Ever Night. Cinder has been taken and Perry, Aria, and the others will stop at nothing to get their friend back.
There’s action, there’s suspense, and theirs wonderful moments between Aria and Perry. I could not put this book down.
What I loved most about this book and the trilogy is the relationships between the characters and the relationship with their environment. I’ve mentioned this over and over again and I’m never going to stop mentioning it, because it’s so uber important (to me).
The relationship between Perry and Aria is one I’ve never seen in a dystopian before. The relationship between Aria, the members the Tides, the Six, and even the dwellers. Perry’s relationship with the Tides and most importantly with Roar and Cinder. There is so much going on, but Rossi and the narrative make it important to note the growing and changing relationships with all these people. Because when the whole world is falling apart that’s the only thing you can really hang on to.
Also, Rossi doesn’t wrap things up in a pretty little bow. There is damage and there is loss and it feels realistic.
In hindsight, there were some small things that were left unanswered (but they were small details), but all in all, Into the Still Blue is a very satisfying ending to an action filled and exciting trilogy. I’m so glad I read this series.
Quotable Quotes:
“We have to tell each other the little things, the bad things. Maybe they’ll hurt for a while, but at least they won’t become big things. If we don’t, we’re just going to keep hurting each other. And I don’t want to do that anymore.”
“Roar’s mouth pulled into a smile - a beautiful smile she hadn’t seen in weeks.
"Beautiful, huh?"
She drew her hand away, giving him a small push on the shoulder. “Don’t act surprised.”
"I’m not. Always nice to be reminded, though.”

This was such an amazing book and I’m so freaking sad that this journey has come to an end for me.

Synopsis:
What was the finale of the series about?
The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do—and they are just as determined to stay together.
Within the confines of a cave they're using as a makeshift refuge, they struggle to reconcile their people, Dwellers, and Outsiders, who are united only in their hatred of their desperate situation. Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. Then Roar arrives in a grief-stricken fury, endangering all with his need for revenge.
Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble an unlikely team for an impossible rescue mission. Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival—he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.
In this final book in her earth-shattering Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.

The Writing:
Veronica Rossi is an absolute miracle-maker! Honestly, she may be my favorite author of all time, tied with author Marissa Meyer. For some reason, her books are completely and utterly underrated and it seems like only a small portion of readers have actually heard about her and/or her fantastical books. I hope this review spreads the word of this outstanding trilogy and I really do hope you will check it out! It is definitely worth your time, periodt.

Now, let’s talk about the characters! Whoop whoop!
Aria:
For those who don’t know, Aria is the main female protagonist of the trilogy. Her arm was shot at the end of book 2, Through the Ever Night and is currently on a hopeful recovery. She’s a brave half-Dweller who tries to help them all get to the Still Blue, before it too late!

Perry:
Peregrine is the main male protagonist of the story. Brave, handsome, with the character of a leader, he fits the title of Blood Lord of the Tides. But now, the world is ending and Perry forms an unlikely alliance with the long time enemy Sable, Blood Lord of the Horns, and Hess, Aria’s worst enemy and Soren’s father.

Sable:
Sable is the main antagonist, manipulating and evil, who forms an alliance with the Tides. A cruel ruler who is going insane and creeps all his people to follow him by force, it is a very risky decision.

Soren:
Soren is a main character in this book as he helps Aria and her friends find the Still Blue. At the end, he does form a decent relationship with Perry, surprisingly, read to find out if you don’t believe me! I honestly don’t blame you!

Hess:
Hess holds all the power, the planes are his, everything is his, but he’s a coward, so like always, Sable rules him, it’s plain ridiculous!

Roar:
Roar is a hollow shell of himself who almost commits suicide after his beloved Liv dies. Luckily, he does recover and comes back to his senses, phew!

So that’s all for the characters, there are more but I could go on all day, so let’s just stop there!
Final Thoughts:
A beautiful underrated book we all should love, I would, again, recommend this! I’m begging, begging, you to read this, because it’s worth it, you’ll understand after reading. Trust me!

Thanks for reading, y'all!

This was insane and I m happy to say this finale was did not disappoint. I'm so happy I got to find out about Aria's father! I was still wondering what happened to one character because he just disappears. Roar was so angry in this book but in his situation I couldn't blame him I just wanted the happy Roar I met in the first book.
What a wonderful series! I can't recommend it enough. Loved this one as much as the others. :)
Great ending to a really good series. There are so many dynamic characters in this book and I fell in love with many of them. I'm sad to see it ending and would love to see their stories continue.
The third book was good! I am pleased with how it ended. There were no cliff hangers and I feel like we got good closure for all the main characters.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the whole trilogy! (plus the two novellas)
