The first half of this book veered right up to the edge of caricature for the Irish characters and the main character's inner monologue was frequently annoying. It got better in the second half but I generally don't enjoy a relationship built on fighting with each other. Overall this book was not my favorite, but I have higher hopes for a novel based on Iris's character.

Wow! This one was MORE than the first book. More fun and more steam, yes, but more emotion too. There moments that left my heart aching and my eyes tearful. This book resonated with me because I saw myself in Kris. He is the younger brother, but he has immense eldest daughter energy.
I love this little world Sara has built, and I hope we get to see more from this cast of characters.
Dylan Reilly Fitzpatrick delivered a KILLER performance! He brought youthful exuberance to the characters, but also a depth of feeling. His growly voice was sublime! *wags eyebrows suggestively*

First read: I had a genuinely fun time when I needed it.
Second read: Sometimes you need Christmas porn.
Third read: Those crazy kids!
