(Reread Review)
Daimon it’s a prequel novella to the Covenant series. Its takes place in the week before the start of Half Blood. And in my opinion, it’s a must read. It’s a short novella and it’s great to have a grip on everything that happened before the events on book one, how Alex and her mother were living in the human world, and how Alex was struggling between everything. So, if you are planning on reading the Covenant series, I recommend reading Daimon first. It’s a good, fast paced, easy reading, great novella.

It was interesting to know what happened to Alex before Half Blood, I miss Alex and her sassy comments.
Teniendo en cuenta lo cortito que es, menuda maravilla. Definitivamente Jennifer L. Almentrout se ha convertido en mi autora favorita ❤️
Daimon is a great prequel for the book Half-Blood. Armentrout wrote the prequel in a way that catches my attention and makes me want to read Half-Blood.
Gosh! Reading this reminded me of how much I love Aiden, Alex and the series in general. I so have to reread it!
Recommend to all the fans and those who haven't even read the series yet.

If you haven't read Half-Blood yet, this will make you want to read it. However, if you've already read it, this will explain what really happen to Alex before Aiden and the sentinels found her on the warehouse on the very start of the story in Halfblood.
I read the Half-Blood first so I thought, reading the prequel was unnecessary since I've already read the First book and Half way to Pure, but this was a light read and curiosity made me picked this book and started reading, and I was so happy I did. I get to understand the relationship of Alex and her mother. I never really realized how caring her mother and how close they were, since she's the only family she's got or so she believes the devastation she felt when she thought she died. I was satisfied as well that Alex wasn't really perfect. She's brave and strong and powerful and kick ass and that's great, but atleast we get to see the low moment of her life, when she was on the verge of giving up.
This was a short story that is necessary to the buildup of the character, Alex. I will make sure to read every short story this series have. :)
