I just realized how much I really like Alex's character. You really get to know her more in Daimon because you see her living a normal life right before the Daimons show up. She is one funny character. Everything she says and thinks is witty and fun. She is probably one of my favorite female characters. :) YAY!

Jennifer Armentrout

I also realized how much my muscles twitch during an action scene because I picture myself jumping in the book and becoming some badass ninja chick. Alex and I bump fists and get to work on those freaky Daimons. I blame Jennifer for writing scenes that I want to be a part of so badly that I become some crazy violent person. LOL

Daimon takes us back to the events right before the beginning of Half-Blood. It was short but still very interesting, and really, I love Alex so anything that involves her is an immediate read for me.

It's not necessary to read this novella, it doesn't really add anything to what we already know, but it does give us a glimpse into Alex's past and a few odd details left out of Alex's retelling of her years outside the Covenant.

Short, funny, sad, this novella will surely capture your heart just as the other books in this series have. For me, it wasn't that ineresting (?) and it took me quite a while to finish this, but I am glad I finished reading it. My baby Alex <3
