Super interesting novella to kind of set up the first book. I do think it would have been good to read this before the first one, but it also was fine to read after.
Una introducción muy cortita a la saga. Es lo primero que leo tanto de la autora como de la saga y ha estado bien, aunque el final se queda demasiado abierto y en tan pocas páginas no se puede ver muy bien cómo irá la cosa. Aun así, la protagonista me ha gustado y me ha dado ganas de leer más.

One of the things that I always thought was lacking in the books was that we never saw Alex's relationship with her mother. And while we see a liiiiittle bit here, I could help but wish for just one more interaction.

Un comienzo rápido y lleno de acción, me gusto la narración corta y que atrae mucho para seguir con los demás libros. Conocer un poquito mas sobre lo que paso antes del primero libro.
Nos muestra una breve historia de lo que sucedió antes de Mestiza, para que tengamos una mejor noción de la historia. Alexandria es el nombre de la protagonista de la saga, le gust que la llamen Alex, en esta novela corta conocemos su habilidad para luchar y sobrevivir aun cuando no ha entrando para ser lo que debe ser.
