Read this review on my blog! --> Daimon be Jennifer L. Armentrout

I just loved this cover, the green really made her stand out and this series follows on this line with strong colors and beautiful flowers.

For a prequel this was a very good book, explained the story in short chapters and even showed how Alexandria is in the normal world, but I got the sense that she’s just like Rose from Vampire Academy. A mix from two races, used only for battles and strong beyond what people think.

So far I’m enjoying this series, my first book from this author but I like her storytelling way.

It was ok for a prequel novella. Very short. Didn't really get much out of it and not necessary for the storyline. It did help us understand her devotion to her mother a bit though.

Not what I expected this novella to be about. It leaves off right at where Half-Blood begins. We get to see Alex directly after her mother's death, see how it affects her, and how it ultimately provided her with the drive she needed to survive. Now I just want to reread Half-Blood and dive headfirst into this series! .....And read about more Aiden ♡
