I looooved watching this story unfold, especially seeing Landen and Ellie in the previous books in the series!
I am always so delighted by Sugarland Creek Ranch & Landen was such a sweetie! I love a man who's so down bad. and Ellie!! My love. I felt so seen by her and just wanted to give her the biggest hug in the world! I loved watching Landen soften her and the two of them FINALLYYY come together!!! I love this universe sm and cannot wait for the other two in the series.
Thank you for the arc LoveNotes PR & Brooke Montgomery <3 ily

As with the other two books in this series, the prologue is a punch to the gut.
Landen works on his family’s ranch and has been pining over Ellie for years. Ellie is a barrel racer who trains at Landen’s family’s ranch. She cannot stand Landen, though no one knows the reason why. They have the best hate banter! Poor Landen was down bad and she despised him.
Ellie has an accident and loses some of her memories. Some of them tied to her hatred of Landen. Suddenly, she’s seeing him in a different light, untainted by her past thoughts and memories. They have immediate chemistry and the hate banter turns to fun, flirty banter.
Ugh, this man was so patient. He pined and crushed on her for four years?! He was willing to take any little crumb, even if it would break him in the end.
I loved their banter, and how it went from sassy and teasing to fun and playful.
I’ve been looking forward to Landen’s book. I love him. I think he’s a great character. He’s funny, but he’s also so patient and sweet. I loved watching Ellie be carefree and fun and let herself get to know Landen.
From the way things were set up, I just know the next two books are going to be gooood!
Cowboy/Barrel racer
He falls first/pining
Dislike to love
Memory loss
She’s the grump
He’s the sunshine
“If you keep being mean to me, I’m gonna end up fallin’ in love with you.”
“Careful. The more you say you don’t like me, the harder I’m gonna fall. Wanna fall with me?”
“I’d rather fall out of a plane without a parachute.”
“Don’t you know by now, Ellie? I’d do pretty much anything for you.”

Another winner from Brooke Montgomery! Ellie and Landen’s story was such a great read, I flew through it in just a couple of days - which is fast for me!
I loved how supportive Landen always was of Ellie, even when she made it known that she wasn’t a fan of his. He stayed with her when she was hurt and helped her through her recovery, supporting her the whole way back to her goals. And the character growth from Ellie was amazing, she was able to self reflect and make changes owning up to her previous mistakes.
I’m so keen for the rest of the books in this series, I have really enjoyed reading this family so far!
Received as an ARC.
✨ Small town
✨ Age gap
✨ Enemies to lovers
✨ Barrel racer x Cowboy
✨ Romantic suspense
✨ Reverse Grumpy x Sunshine
✨ He falls first (and hard)
And we’re back for book three in the Sugarland Creek series and we finally get Ellie and Landen’s story. If anyone knows how to perfect blend that small town romance charm with a suspense subplot it’s Brooke bloody Montgomery, I can tell you that much. Once again she well and truly knocks it out of the park.
Landen and Ellie had the epitome of a slow burn enemies to lovers in this story, I was living for it and desperate for them to finally cave, it was so worth it when they did

✨ARC Review✨
I truly had no idea where the plot line of this story would go, but I was so happy with how it all turned out! I was so excited to read Landon and Ellie’s story after reading the first two books in this series, and Brooke truly did their story justice. I feel like the amnesia trope is one that many authors stay away from, but I really do enjoy it! It’s always great to read a story that takes place in Sugarland Creek, and I can’t wait to continue to read the series as the books come out. Thanks so much to Brooke and Love Notes PR for the ARC!
