I never thought I’d see the day where I liked an amnesia trope. Brooke Montgomery does an amazing job handling this delicate dance. I don’t know how to explain it other than if you’re like “ehhhh amnesia-pass,” you need to give this book a try. The suspense subplot-I refuse to give away any spoilers-is both heartbreaking and devious. It’s just so so good. Ellie(FMC) can’t stand Landen(MMC), and she’s not afraid to let him know at every turn. She’s dedicated her life to barrel racing and is training with the best, Noah, at her family’s farm. But Noah’s brother Landen is determined to stick around.

This book offers more than just a romance and suspense subplot. We have to talk about the barrel racing information-training and competing-was so detailed. I know absolutely nothing about that world, but I feel like I came away from this book with a little bit of knowledge. I had no idea how involved the training was that goes into something like that. Maybe I need to find myself a rodeo romance book. Ellie is so incredibly dedicated to her craft. She eats, breathes, and sleeps barrel racing(and hating Landen Hollis).

Fall with Me is the slowest burn. But the pace these two took their relationship at was perfect for their preexisting interactions. Landen was determined to not to rush things with the girl of his dreams. His biggest concern wasn’t that she’d get her memory back, but that she wouldn’t want him once she did. It would break his heart to let his Little Devil go.

**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review a huge thank you to Brooke and Love Notes PR**

The way I devour Brooke Montgomery's writing is insane. I couldn't put it down for a second. I LOVED LOVED LOVED Landen and Ellie so much. I loved the banter between them two, I just overall love Sugarland Creek and every single character. It feels like Im right there with them. I thought the writing was great (OFC) and the plot flowed really well, and the spice was great too. It was really great being back in Sugarland Creek and I cannot wait for more!

I would first like to say that Brooke Montgomery knows how to write a book I will devour in less than a day. After finishing Tripp and Magnolia’s story, I knew Landen and Ellie were gonna be a fun time, and boy was I right. I especially liked how we got to see a lot of their “enemy” interactions before the amnesia plot kicks in (although, let’s be real Landen was always down bad for our girl). The family dynamics that I loved in other books only expanded in this one, I especially loved seeing more of Mallory because who knew a 15 year old girl could get on the nerves of grown men so often (she’s definitely had some good female role models) Overall, I think this book is a great continuation of an already wonderful series, and I can’t wait to see the next couple!

I received and eARC copy of Fall With Me in exchange for an honest review. Special thanks to Brooke and Love Notes PR for allowing me to read this wonderful story a little early!

Ugh I’m so in love with this series..

Landon is such a dream. What man waits for you for 4 years even though you show no intentions of ever liking him let alone falling in love?! I can’t.

Brooke did it again. She gutted my heart in chapter one, made me cackle through the banter of their frenimies relationship. Ellie was such a firecracker. I loved it.

The spice wasn’t as steamy this book, but I felt like the moments between them were so special. It made me cherish their relationship so much more.

I love the found family, banter, friendships, powerful female characters, and chaos of the Hollis family.

Cannot WAIT for Waylon’s book 🥰

I’m never getting of my soap box. Read this series. The longer you wait, the more of a disservice you’re doing to yourself.

I was so excited to read Landen’s book after seeing more of him in "Stay With Me" as one of Magnolia’s best friends because I knew he was going to be adorable and hilarious, and I was right. But, I also felt so bad for Landen because all he ever wanted was Ellie Donovan’s heart and she was keeping that locked up tight and was willing to be vicious to Landen to keep it that way. That is until the day she hit her head and couldn’t remember hating him…

Landen Hollis has wanted Ellie Donovan since the day they met 4 years ago, but unfortunately for him, Ellie has wanted nothing to do with him. In fact, she’s hated him for the past 11 years–not that she’ll tell him about that or why she hates him. That doesn’t stop Landen from wanting her, though, and trying to make his way past her defenses. He loves pushing Ellie’s buttons because, as far as he’s concerned, any attention from her is better than none, even if she’s tearing him a new one. One day, Ellie’s barrel racing career comes to a screeching halt when she falls off her horse, hits her head, and ends up with a concussion and amnesia! But, she’s pleasantly surprised when she wakes up to a sexy, blue-eyed cowboy looking at her like she’s his dream girl. However, Landen is shocked when Ellie wakes up and is nice to him because she has no memory of him and that she hates him. He tells her that they shouldn’t get close to each other because it’s only a matter of time before Ellie gets her memory back and realizes she hates him and he doesn’t want her to regret anything when that happens. But, Ellie is determined to get to know the man who she finds out has only ever been kind to her despite how mean she was to him for years. As they get to know each other more when Ellie’s memories aren’t coming back, they get closer and closer and open up to each other more and more. As Ellie’s memories start to resurface, will things still work out between them, or will Ellie end up breaking Landen’s heart because she suddenly remembers why she hated him in the first place?

I really enjoyed this book, even though I felt so bad for Landen because of how much he wanted Ellie and how mean she was to him. It was interesting seeing it from Ellie’s perspective though because she really tried hard not to like Landen. So, when she lost her memories, it was interesting to see all of her attraction to Landen bubble to the surface when it wasn’t suppressed by her hatred. I did appreciate that, even though she lost her memories of hating Landen, that didn’t mean that Ellie became a completely different person–she was still sassy with him, but in a less harsh way than she had been before. All of that was okay with Landen though because he loved that Ellie had some sass in her and wouldn’t have wanted her to lose that either. Landen may be the funny, happy-go-lucky brother, but don’t think that means he didn’t have a filthy mouth because he certainly did! 😏 And the cowboy hat scene?! 🥵

I loved this story so much! Landen made me laugh and smile so many times and I loved how strong and sassy Ellie was. I loved how much they supported each other even when Ellie hated Landen, but even more when she didn’t hate him! This was a great next book in the series, but I can’t wait to see what happens next in Waylon’s story!

Quotes I Loved:

"If you keep being mean to me, I'm gonna end up fallin' in love with you." -Landen [it's giving ALL the Nick Miller energy and I'm here for it!]

"With his de-lulu brain, he'd probably think me trying to murder him was foreplay." -Ellie

Oh my love for Landen and Ellie is over the moon. Their story was one I was looking forward to reading. I mean who doesn’t love a good hate to love romance. Throw in a little amnesia and you got me hook, line, sinker!

Landen has been obsessed with Ellie for 4 years, since the day he met her, he was drawn to her for some reason he didn’t understand. All he knew was she was different than his other hookups and wanted to actually get to know this girl. But she hated him with a passion and he didn’t know why. Did that stop him from trying to get her to change her mind? Nope not one single moment. He would banter with her just to have her talk to him in someway. I think that was what made me love Landen so much. He knew Ellie hated his guts but he still tried anything he could to get her to see HIM. He never gave up, even when she would tell him too or said some very rude things to him.

I was looking forward to reading more about Ellie. I was on the fence about her and wanted to know what it was that Landen did to her that he didn’t remember to make her hate him so much. But man I did not see the reason behind that hate coming. I was a little put off by it and her for a few chapters. But she redeemed herself, sadly after a horrible accident happens to her. Another thing I was interested in reading more about, was her losing her memory of some of her past. But I loved how Landen and Ellie started to finally get to know each other. Love that she gave him the chance to show himself really and love how he took his time and never rushed anything with her.

These two were so perfect for each other and I loved reading their love story. It is sad, emotional, loving and funny. But it was perfect for them.

Now bring on the twins!!

Fall With Me is the third book in the Sugarland Creek Series by Brooke Montgomery. It is Landen and Ellie’s story. It is filled with emotions, twists and turns and spice. Ellie is a barrel racer with her horse Ranger, who trains at Sugarland Creek and despises Landen.  Landen is nothing but nice to Ellie regardless of her attitude towards him. He is persistent, but she isn’t having any of it until her incident that results in amnesia.
I love the plot, character development and all the fun in a small town series. The banter between them, especially when it turned fun was felt. You could feel the chemistry between them throughout the whole book and obviously I loved the outcome. I can’t wait to read book 4. Thank you Love Notes PR and Brooke for the ARC.

Landen + Ellie had me in an absolute chokehold. I honestly did not want 𝙁𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙚 to end. There is romance, banter, spice, and a small element of suspense. Every single page was so incredibly good. Landen was a total golden retriever and a solid MMC. The man will legitimately have you swooning the entirety of the book. The FMC, Ellie, was a fantastic lead. She’s strong, fierce, and blunt as can be. I truly loved their story. It might be my favorite in the series so far (maybe?! I can’t say because I love them all). This entire series is one of my favorites. The Hollis family is impossible not to love. I’m telling y’all this is THE cowboy romance series to read and I will never stop recommending it 👏🏼

So excited for the twins books! The setup at the end of 𝙁𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙚 has my head spinning. I cannot wait for those wild boys to find their matches!

A huge THANK YOU to Brooke Montgomery and Love Notes PR for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion 🫶🏼

Fall With Me is book 3 in the Sugarland Creek series and about Landen and Ellie. Once again Brooke Montgomery did not disappoint, I devoured this one!

I love Ellie and Ranger’s partnership. You can tell how much he means to her. They were so in sync at their competitions and they deserved their wins.

Ellie and Landen’s relationship was definitely unique. In the beginning Ellie can’t stand Landen and he has no idea. It went on like that for years but eventually we found out what Ellie has against Landen. When the truth was revealed it did make sense. It did take me a little to like Ellie because I did not understand why she was acting towards Landen the way she was. But Landen is so charming and he was so persistent even when Ellie couldn’t stand him he was still there for her. I felt bad for Landen because he had no idea what he did wrong and he was trying his best.

Ellie had a lot of character development and after her memory loss things got better. She found out the truth and when her memories came back she realized what she did. I loved her easy going banter and their overall relationship. They have come a long way together and separate but it was worth it for them.

I loved all the side characters and getting updates from the past couples and I am excited to read what is to come.

He wants what he can’t have; and she wants nothing to do with him. This book hits the spot with its slow burn spice and dislike to lovers tension.

THOUGHTS 💭
🐴 Ellie is such a spitfire; she’s very outspoken and acts like she’s seen it all/done it all. Despite her bravado, she’s naive and ends up learning a few hard lessons in this book.
🐴 Landon was such an adorable, sweet; gentlemanly golden retriever MMC. He falls first and marvelously and I just want him to be happy. 🥹
🐴 This book shows that there are always at least two versions of a story; both Landon and Ellie had their truths and it impacted their whole lives.
🐴 I spent half the book anxious and waiting for the other shoe to drop (i.e. when Ellie’s memories returned!). Brooke wrote the suspense expertly!
🐴 The slow burn and dirty talk were 🥵🥵🥵.
🐴 Being back with the Hollis family was amazing. I love revisiting beloved characters from previous books!

Thanks so much to Brooke Montgomery and Love Notes PR for the ARC of this book!
