I liked the first book in this series a lot, and I wanted to like this one too, but it was just weird. There’s so much hate between the MCs for much of the book, and then they try to hide everything and the hate is forced. There’s also some weird food related spice that was so cringy to me. The character arc for the MMC was good though, and there were some funny moments in there. Good spice aside from the food, good plot, and well written.

Please check CW and TW before diving into this wild af ride. Bennet and Cat are fricken amazing together lol. In the novel we got a taste of them ;) and I could not wait for their story and it did not disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat! I laughed, I gasped and then I was fanning myself because that tension was tensioning. I kinda want to a book with them after this just to see what other antics they get up to.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I absolutely loved Cat and Bennett’s story!!! I found myself laughing out loud throughout the entire book. I can’t wait until the third book comes out!!

This book was hilarious! I didn’t have high hopes going in to this book because I found both main characters to be very annoying in the first book of the series, but they grew on me really fast. The author takes food play to a whole new level in this book that I never knew existed. I’m excited for the third book in the series to come out now!
