I’ll never eat a turkey leg ever again
dark funny

A fun, funny and dark read

Cat and Bennett’s story was prefect their messy hate to love relationship, the back and forth the banter the hot hot steamy spicy it was all so good.

Oh how I hate food porn but this wasn’t that bad in-fact I was laughing so hard I was crying at the whole scene the dinner scene didn’t help either I had me over the edge Not the turkey. There are so many laugh out loud moments in this book I thoroughly enjoyed it,

It's not about to win any literary prizes but God is it good.

Somehow Lauren manages to take serial killer spice and make it both hilarious and hot 🥵

“Not everyone can pretend to be happy all the time.”

If I DNF'd this, I couldn't give it the one star I think it deserves.

This is the definition of a book / characters that has potential but the author tries to go so over the top with the plot, tries to be shocking with the actions and then the characters you loved from the first book just act so out of character that you stop loving them.

I'm want to go on a rant about the turkey leg but honestly the quicker I forget about it, the better. I'm sorry, but adding something like this in was done for a viral moment or something, I don't know??  The food fetish is one thing, I loved the honey.. but then the entire feeding the turkey leg to people just made me realise why I DNF'd Lauren's other series.

I fear she is not the author for me. I'd rec Sinners Retreat but that's about it.
