My New Year’s resolution is to finally read all the books I’ve bought and never read. I couldn’t tell you when I bought this but it’s been living on my kindle the longest without being read.
This books gets stars for being short. I was not daunted to start this. The rest of my TBR is giving me anxiety.

I cried reading this. I liked the characters and was rooting for them. I could have used more confessions and paintings. I really enjoyed that aspect of the book.
This book never outstays its welcome, would recommend for a lazy Sunday read.

obviously I had to end the year with a bang and what better than the only colleen hoover book I haven’t read yet

Wow, I'm an emotional mess right now lol. I broke a new record. I cried within the first five pages of this book.

First. Five. Pages! The prologue was beyond.. Wow. I was really crying.

Now let's talk about the story. This book was beyond amazing. It was sad at some parts, funny in others, and some were even intense. Auburn doesn't seem to like Texas but she's back for a reason and I was just curious to find out what's going on in her life. She really didn't give much away which was something the kept me hooked. When she finds Owen's studio looking for a job I was excited to meet him. Their first encounter was pretty funny. It was just so light and humorous and I absolutely loved that.

I love all the confessions in the book! The way he made paintings inspired by those confessions was something really creative. The paintings were really beautiful and I understood why he drew them. The confessions and painting clicked really nicely.

Owen was really funny and cheesy something but extremely lovable and very sweet! I loved him the moment I met him.

Auburn and Owen had immediate attraction. I felt like Owen was a breath of fresh air to her. Ever since what happen with the person who was basically her first love she hasn't really had been attracted to a guy as she's attracted to Owen. Owen and Auburn automatically understood each other. She felt like she's known him her whole life. There was just a fast connection. She's was going through a lot and with him she felt free in a way. I love how we get to know more about them slowly. Not all at once.

Trey and Lydia really pissed me off. It's so messed up how they were using something on her. Manipulating her.. Lydia always made her feel incapable of doing things. Always out her down and really crashed her self-esteem. I'm not sure who was worse Trey or Lydia.

When the ending came I knew I was going to cry again and of course I did. That ending was emotionally beautiful God damn it Colleen Hoover really hits me deep in the feels.

I really hope everyone gets this book. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be consumed. You'll love the characters and you'll enjoy the plot. I wish I could say more about the book but I feel like I'll give something away. But I do promise you that it's a great read. So go get this one!

A favorite from CH! So good and intriguing. Loved it.

loveeeeeee. i don’t know why everyone hates colleen hoover books she actually writes good plots. the relationship between auburn, owen, and adam is so strong and displayed perfectly

I truly loved this book. But I wish there was more to it. I felt it only hit the surface of their stories and the ending was a little bit of a let down. I enjoyed them getting to know each other, but it seemed in part two of the story every thing was rushed and you never got to see how everything went full circle. With all that said I still loved me some Owen.
emotional fast-paced

Meh… the concept for the art is really cool, that’s about it.

4 stars

I'm a little sad there wasn't more resolution at the end with him telling her that he knew her before.
