I liked the story, but I didn't feel much chemistry between Alan and Lukas. I thought it odd that they acted like they didn't like each other, and they never really flirted, but then Alan got a phone and started texting Lukas and kind of flirted, and then expected him to show up to rescue him a couple of times. Lukas called Alan his friend, and then the next week they were in love. I just don't get how they went from tolerating each other in the group to lovers?! Shouldn't they have spoken to each other and gotten to know each other before they became lovers?! I guess you don't have to like someone to find them attractive and have sex with them, but I don't understand the being snippy with each other and then deciding you love them without actually talking to them first.

4.5 Stars - I loved this! Allan was so snarky and just a prickly porcupine, but Lukas saw through that. I loved that both MC's had things in common besides physical attraction. The secondary characters were great as well and made the whole story come together. The end was a bit OTT, but other than that, it was great.

Just loved it.
My only objection was that it was a bit slow in the middle.

Holy crap, what a story! The way the author incorporated the photo that inspired the prompt is amazing. I'd actually forgotten about the photo until the moment it appeared in the story. Gotta go so maybe I'll elaborate more later. But maybe not.

Wtf lol
This was fine until about 80%, right about when they became a couple, and then it went into off the charts crazy territory. They decided to get married (and did so) after literally a week of boning? At age 21? No-one was disturbed by this? Everyone thought this was totally kosher? Sweet baby Jesus. That's a no-no.

This kind of story's I LOVE! The journey of the mc's, their past, their conversations, the side-characters. The way Lukas understands Alan and his mind is just lovely!

3.75 stars. It would be a 4-star but it was a tad too perfect. I would have liked to see Alan have some doubts or trepidation for entering into his first gay relationship but he didn't have any qualms even though Lukas was so messed up. But Alan and Lukas were sweet together. I just felt like he was trying to save Lukas, like women do when they see a damaged guy. So I am not sure how much of it was that "Captain Saver" and how much was that all consuming passion.
I did enjoy it a lot though.
