Loving this series... Finished this one and picked up the next one to start straight away!!

This is the one where Eric loses his memory and we LOVE an amnesia inflicted Eric. Gets a bit steamy but very much action packed. Yes, many men love Sookie but i also like that some men are appalled by her. Makes her character seem more realistic.

Although i think Charlaine’s conclusions to some of the main issues (bill missing, Jason missing) are sloppily finished, they are still fun reads for the paranormal variety.

I LOVE nice Eric! I hope he continues to be nice. :) it took me a while to finish this book, other things just kept coming up. But, it didn't change the fact that I really did love this book. I'm not a fan of Bill so I was glad he wasn't in most of this.

Eric seemed so venerable and lost. It was Eric from a simpler time, without all the death and pain. He was reborn and cute as hell. Eric truly felt something for Sookie.
Sookie doesn't have it easy. Her brother goes missing, she's being hated to the point where the answer comes to death and to save Eric from losing his memory permanently, she has to go up against very powerful witches, that ends up in a battle for lives.

Wherein we learn that Sookie can certainly handle a shotgun or a baseball bat should the need arise. But she still wishes for a bit more back-up. Despite her misgivings, she proves repeatedly that she’s in many ways more street-smart and a better tactician than most of the supernatural beings that she hangs around with. Probably as a result of being a single woman, responsible for her own safety—an escape plan is a necessary fashion accessory.

Everyone keeps judging Sookie, thinking that she’s blonde & stupid, but she proves them misguided. She may not have the best taste in men (she tends toward the controlling, violent sort), but she’s an excellent practical psychologist (figuring out how people will act & why). Being a telepath has given her some insights that the rest of us could certainly use. Her general lack of experience in romantic relationships shows, but she’s learning gradually that she doesn’t need to put up with poor treatment. Amnesiac Eric shows her a bit of what a good relationship could be like.

I liked the 4th book in this series. I did accidentally skip book 3 I will be reading that one soon. I like following the life of Sookie and now that things are heating up with Eric it looks to be interesting going forward.

Really liked this one and it'll be interesting to see it on TV!

No Bill for starters, I do wonder what's going to happen to his character now Eric is in the picture. Which brings me to Eric - YAY!

Sookie didn't get beaten up which is something I noted in the last book - glad about that!

I was kind of hoping Eric would retain his memory! I also want to see more of Jason, is he now a were-panther?

Vampire Bill is out of the country and Sookie searches for her missing brother. Witches, Shifters, Vampires and Weres abound.

I really liked this book. Eric was so different, but I do prefer the fully functioning Eric to "don't remember anything" Eric.
