Not as good as the first three books. The whole thing about witches was a little uninteresting, like she's trying to find a way to work every supernatural being possible into the series. I did enjoy that Bill wasn't around as much.
I really enjoy reading these books. They are funny and silly at times but still have a twist or two to keep me interested.
I liked this one best out of the four I have read so far. I think that may be bias though since the main reason I liked it was because it was more centered around the character Eric and he's one of my favorite characters from the book and tv series.

i give this book 4 and a half stars. so far these books have got better and better. i really enjoyed seeing a different side to Eric but i do have to admit i prefer Eric the way he was.
I liked the book well enough, but it was a bit dry to me. I wasn't as impressed with it as I was with others. Overall though, I think it was still good.
So far this is my favorite book in the series!! I love how Bill is hardly in it and that Eric and Sookie have a short relationship. I am all about Eric!!
