I still like this series and the premise but the pacing felt off to me. Also the characters seemed to all be waiting for stuff to happen and then whenever their goals did not come to fruition they are all just like "Oh well, anyway..." I don't know but I am still intrigued to know if all of this will come to something in the end.

I LOVED the first book in this series. I thought the characters and the magic system was so interesting. I enjoyed the second book as well -- even if I disagreed with some of the decisions the characters made, I could understand them. Unfortunately, the end of the series let me down enough that I cannot recommend them.

Zwischendurch hat es sich etwas gezogen, aber generell bin ich gespannt wie es weitergeht.

Mir hat gefallen, dass in diesem Band mehr auf auf Umwelt und Gesellschaft eingegangen wurde durch Belen, aber irgendwie hat ihr Charakter dann doch ein ziemlich schnelles Ende gefunden. Schöner hätte ich es gefunden, wenn sie und Libby sich noch einmal begegnet wären. 
Wenigstens haben sich Gideon und Nico ganz am Ende noch ihre Gefühle gestanden.

Answered a couple questions, added way more. By the ending I knew I wouldn’t be finishing the series, but only because I wanted it to end on a semi-happy note. Or at least a note I was happy with.
