Loved this third book in the American Heiress series! This book has such a great location! It is set in the early 1900's in Egypt. This time period is so fascinating because this is the time when great discoveries of tombs were happening. The characters are really enjoyable. I loved the Wandering Widows! Syble and Marcus have a great relationship and romance. I enjoyed all their interactions and their personalities. Both have suffered failed relationships and don't want to be hurt again so they are weary of each other even though there is a strong attraction there. Such a great story with a great message of the importance of being true to yourself.

Stacy Henrie is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! She has such a great way of writing characters that are deep and relatable. The stories are so well written and I love the settings of this series. She also includes historical facts in her stories that are really interesting. Looking forward to what she is writing next!

Great clean historical romance. I really enjoyed learning more about Egypt and the excavation process along with this sweet romance. I have enjoyed this whole series about the American Heiresses traveling to England and finding love.

A historical romance set among the tombs of Egypt in the middle of an exciting archaeological dig! This should have been great. But it was just okay. It was missing that extra something that makes some novels sparkle. I didn’t think enough happened and the setting and other details were lacking. The story dragged (I turned the audio to 1.75x speed just to get the story moving), especially with the never ending back and forth of the two main characters getting a secret thrill from accidentally brushing against each other’s hand but then assuming the other one could never feel the same. And repeat. Then,

I think this is the first book I've read that featured archaeologists and the excavation of Egyptian tombs - especially set in this time period. I loved the interaction between the main characters and the way their relationship developed.
