It started fun and silly, but then as the barely-there plot tried to find its way into the story it became too melodramatic for my tastes. That combined with the constant refusal to communicate between the main characters and the attempts to build up secondary and tertiary characters with cliches made it difficult to enjoy.

So much sex. Like each chapter. When there was a plot it was good, but much of the book was just them having sex. There was a lot of betrayal in this book. The ending was very abrupt. This book was good but ehh.
Honestly, this book isn’t that great. The first book was meh and I was thinking maybe it would get better with a second book, I was wrong. It both has a ton of plot points / twists and turns while being exceptionally dull. I wanted to stop reading halfway through but thought it must get better, it didn’t. And while it leaves off on a cliffhanger I won’t be reading any other book from this series. They’re just boring.
