The plot was so much better in this book but I had a lot of trouble remembering what happened in the first book. Recommend rereading before starting this one.
I’ve read this series multiple times. I can’t wait for more books to be released. It’s so under hyped and lives rent free in my head
It was great to be back in this world! Scarlett St. Clair is an amazing writer! From start to finish I was hooked! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough and never put it down! So eleven hours later I was done with it and I can't wait for the next book!
I’m a bit confused but I did enjoy it. It was fast paced and I had a feeling about the ending. I’m excited for the next book. And I know that Adrian’s whole MO is conquering and death but I wished he and Isolde didn’t rule with such an iron fist. I feel like Isolde was very easily manipulated to but also a powerful woman. I had such conflicting feelings. But I’m taking away that being extremely radical on either side is never a good thing and a balance is always necessary.
