Fucked me up
I get that this was a good book, just did not have fun reading it

Albert Camus' philosophical musings (but don't call them philosophy!) examine modern culture, often hilariously, and often with a shocking lack of consideration. The narrator is not necessarily a likable character, but that is partially because he is not really a single character, but an amalgam of society. What I loved about the book was the unique second person approach and the creative way the reader becomes that other character the narrator is talking to. What he was trying to say became somewhat opaque by the end, however, especially as the book seemed to attempt to implicate me, the reader, but I didn't really feel implicated.
"Pouco a pouco, todavia, voltou-me a memória.
