I don't know exactly what about this book turned me off from it, but I think mostly because I think the characters were TOO perfect. Flaws, however small, in a character are what makes them dynamic and that's why I think the story felt a little flat. The entire time I knew very well that this was all happening inside of a story because it never felt like real life.
