Every woman in this story is the biggest doormat who lets men treat her like total crap. I was hopeful that the friendship between the women would blossom in a way that they would learn to be happy on their own and enjoy life as single friends, but that didn’t happen. The writing and story isn’t terrible, but the characters are the worst.
I enjoyed this! It borders on “having a SO=happiness”, but I think it actually has a broader perspective- but it’s close.
