This was a cute romcom with a little magic mixed in. It's set in Scotland, and since this was an audiobook, the accents were a little odd for me, but they definitely grew on me before long. Alternating points of view from Rosie and Alexander (with the appropriate accents included) were a cute touch as well. It let you feel more of what each of them was thinking along the way.
I'm excited to know there are more books in this setting because the town made me want to live there. In this case, Rosie is from the US and inherits a bookshop in a small Scottish town. What she doesn't know is the bookshop comes with its own magic for matchmaking.
So, with the typical rom-com misunderstandings and drama, you need to see how this plays out. Oh, and I almost forgot, a cute little puffin named Tati (Tatty?)
Fun cozy bookish romance that definitely has me looking for more.
