Just read this in one sitting. It left me in tears, and expecting to reread it before returning it to the library. And this from someone who’s not that into poetry nor YA.

I’m going to leave it unrated because 5 stars feels a little aggressive for such a quick read, but I don’t have a good reason to give it anything less.

Beautiful and impactful. I’m a sucker for a story written in verse, as it is both a quick read and eliminates all excess words. I could reread this book multiple times and find new things each time. The story unfolds at first predictably, but then takes the reader on a new journey that is unexpected.

Woof, short but heavy. I don't feel like I can thoroughly explain my feelings without giving away the twist but it was a doozy. This book is ethereal and dark in ways I didn't know a book could be.

I picked this one up at the library, and didn’t anticipate weeping so much

An absolutely devastatingly beautiful novel about loss, relationships, and attempting to put yourself together again. This novel in verse will absolutely wreck you to the point of bawling, but it is so gracefully written that you will not put the book down (except maybe to get some tissues). Truly a work of art that everyone should read.
