Nice little short read from Clare Mack. Liked the storyline and how it developed. Ideal read for an afternoon at the beach!

A quick review for a quick read.
I loved this book. It was fast paced. It might have been a short book, but wow what a book it was. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was!

A gripping, fast-paced read. Perfect if you want to dip your toes into the mystery/thriller genre. Mackintosh provided complex characters, a gripping story and plenty of twists and turns.

At just 100 pages this short story is one powerful read. This was the perfect book to read in one sitting on a Sunday afternoon. Anything Clare Mackintosh writes I'll read. Her characters are just so raw, reel and relatable. It reminded me of her other book After the End which is one of my favourites.

Four stars

I felt that book came alive in literally the last 10 pages....good twist towards end and open for a follow on book.
