I know when I read a BJ Alpha book it’s going to be more spice than plot and I mean that in the best possible way. Shaw and Emi were pretty toxic for each other though. Emi wanted out of the Mafia life, but she still kept throwing the whole “in blood we’re bound” thing in his face.
I would have preferred him to fall hard for her instead of letting himself get in the way of happiness early on. I loved the Banter between the Storm Enterprises men. The plot twist was good though. The ending was really good too.

Shaw and Emi oh my. So…Emi decides she wants control over, let’s just say herself, so she opts for a one night stand. The lucky guy…Shaw. Fast forward a few months and men are busting through Shaw’s door at work with a very ticked off brother, Luca and probably for good reasons. Very entertaining book and oh so steamy.

This book was so bad and problematic I can’t even get into all the ways it sucked. Genuinely concerned for anyone who read this book and liked it. I am convinced the author hates women. Every single woman in this book was the ultimate stereotype for whatever role they played. I’m not sure the MMC even liked the FMC given the ways he abused her and talked to her. The FMC was not a “strong mafia princess” she was a doormat for the men in her life, first her brother and then the MMC. These two did not ever have a conversation that didn’t end with them having sex. I’m not even convinced they actually know anything about each other.
