Shaw is a HOT, possessive DOM type of man and boy does he not disappoint. He may have annoyed me at times when he was being an idiot, but his possessiveness made up for it at certain times. And Emi knows how to handle him and put up with all his antics. Their love story is definitely not pretty and rough doesn't even come close to describe it. But all the intense sexual energy and underlining love for one another shows just how much they care and makes a perfect pair.

BJ did it again! Holy Hannah this book. The trope list alone sold me and was not disappointed AT ALLLLLL. Dang! Shaw is a dirty, dirty man and Emi is one lucky FMC. Plot, drama, sooo much filthy spice, and a story to keep you wanting more. BJ writes some of the best MMC’s and Shaw is up there. So excited for more to come!

Emi is a mafia princess through and through. She knows her place in that world, but she also holds her own with testing those limits.
The spice my friends, was incredible. A lot of br33ding, praise, and down right dirty talk. Shaw and Emi seemed to meet each other’s sexual energy.
Did I want to throw my Kindle a couple times? Yes. But did I enjoy how it ended? ABSOLUTELY.

I will start this by saying I love BJ and her past series so I had high hopes for this one. The beginning started so strong with Emi and Shaw meeting in Vegas. When she ended up pregnant I couldn’t wait to see where the story would go. Then Shawn’s true colors came out. He was petty and cruel, allowing his ex to complicate his already complicated marriage. Normally it’s the FMC I consider a brat but in the case it was definitely Shaw. Honestly I had more respect for Luca than I did for him. I will absolutely keep reading this series because I feel like the side characters have a ton of potential.
Like everything BJ Alpha writes, I could not put this down. I loved this book & can't wait for the rest of the series!
