I really enjoyed this book! I’m a huge fan of the Inheritance Games series, and have read the first few Naturals books (which I enjoyed and hope to continue reading), so I figured I’d give this one a try. Let me just say, Jennifer Lynn Barnes never disappoints! I really enjoyed the continuous mystery theme that is present in all of her books, and while it was different than the puzzles/riddles and crime mystery themes of her other popular series, I found the scandalized and drama-focused mystery very fun to read about! And, of course, the book also presented a very complicated family-line, which I have to come to recognize as a signature move for this author, and while they always prove to confuse me, they also always prove to keep me on my toes in such a fun way. I am excited to read the second book, and definitely recommend! 💐💄💋🤍
