This is fun. Took a little while for me to get into it, but the last 200 pages really pick up the pace.

this definitely felt like it was written for 8-13 year olds, which wouldn’t be problem except for the fact that like 40% of the book could have been shaved down if a) the author cut down the use of longwinded dialogue and repetitive descriptions and b) if sawyer just minded her business and focused on finding out who her father was lol. I also felt that apart from maybe Lily, I couldn’t really envision what anyone looked like??maybe it’s just me idk
I did enjoy The Naturals and The Fixer so it’s just sad that this didn’t live up to my expectations
