This was very fun and entertaining, but I was surprised that it wasn't more centered around everyone having secrets, they kinda dropped the secrets on our skin storyline which was weird

probs my least fave series of hers. why does JLB always dabble around incest?! girl what?! also, i felt like this was just too long. like i wanted it to get to the point, the ending got a little muddied and MAN does JLB like a 4th quarter bombshell.
also family trees are confusing. i need to look up a map but i didn’t want to spoil anything. is ana sadie-grace’s mom? if so, i totally predicted that. JD is an a-hole! ugh i mean you KNOW that sawyers your daughter and you do nothing? what was olivia doing this whole time? did she know? how could lillian keep all this quiet? why kick ellie out but not sue the pants off JD? too much to think about. this book is giving me acid reflux
anyways, i was fine with sawyer. she was too “im not like other girls” like we get it. you don’t want a manicure or to wear any makeup and you fix cars and pick locks meh-meh-meh. lily on the other hand- slay. campbell? slay (and a half i mean come! on!) sadie-grace? tbh i was not a fan of her and her rond-de-jambe-ing.
again, hot take, not a fan of incest. glad walkers mom was like absolutely-tf-not when walker and sawyer almost kissed. but- if sadie-grace’s dad is actually the senator and the senators dad is the grandfather of boone aren’t we in weird territory? once again, this family tree was so confusing.
this book took me a while to read. i mean, i did get 8 billion books on libby at once and have to take my finals but i feel like i had this book forever. it was fun at the beginning when they kidnapped campbell and i was like damn!!!! this is where we are going!?!?! (very fun to skip all the secrets pages in AP Physics or hold my entire hand over some of those messages. super cool JLB
