There was a lot of thing in this: overcoming family pressure, stop doubting yourself and believe you can make everything happen, all of that mixed with food, fun time and making friends! The story was cute and funny, but it could have been more.

This was so cute! I loved seeing the different monsters in Monster City. Brianna’s character arc was short pretty realistic in my opinion too, she went from doubting and insulting herself and came into her own.

Brianna is the daughter of a worldwide known chef. She has 15 older brothers with that. As their father is dying he challenges all of his children. They have to create their own restaurant and the most successful one will inherit the name and legacy of the family. So Brianna decides to move to Monster City to create her restaurant.

TW : Anxiety

Overall I liked this graphic novel. The drawings are great, colorful. I like the mix of monsters and humans. The restaurant and Brianna are really cute. I also really liked the fact that it shows anxiety, something very common and unknown by many. Even if it was very cute I was not attached more than that to the characters, something was missing and I can't really explain it.

A bit disappointing. The characters have potential, but remained unfkeshed and 2D

Amazing

I loved this! I need more of this! Brianna is great, realistic and optimistic fat fighter with anxiety & depression. The human engineer and the harpy waitress with her make the perfect trio. The villianness is totally understandable & relatable.

Overall good read, nothing super fun or serious to look out for by the end.

Atleast she satisfied her father and herself,I guess that's all that matters.

this is fun and relatable if you can ignore the slight whitewashing/gentrification aspect
