This is the perfect cozy romcom to read this fall.
Loved the quirky characters and the whole plot was just fun. The setting in a small town in Texas was the best small town atmosphere vibes. Max is perfect book boyfriend vibes! I loved everything about his character. Delia is such a southern sweetheart ray of sunshine. The side characters were so entertaining.
The audiobook was really well done with dual narration by Laura Knight Keating and Zion Jang. They kept me engaged in this story and wanting more.

Too slow, interactions with the LI do not seem to develop the romantic connection
This could’ve easily been a four star read for me. Bloom’s sense of humor was funny, but at times it felt like she tried a little too hard. MPO- this book should have been shorter. Some parts I felt like were dragging. Definitely enjoyed the coven crossover with the southern hospitality. Nonetheless, I would defiantly recommend this book around the holidays.
This was the perfect fall read! If you want a witchy rom-com that feels like Practical Magic, and has a talking cat like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, then you will love this. It was sweet, cozy, cute, and quirky. Delia’s family is chaotic and lovely, and their wild antics were so entertaining. Max is strait laced, grumpy, and doesn’t believe in love, but he falls hard and fast for Delia, and their relationship is too cute. I listened to the audiobook, and it was amazing! The Texas drawl was perfect. This book was totally adorable and is the perfect read for the start of spooky season.

This book felt like art someone made by earnestly following a Bob Ross Tutorial: it's not bad? All the pieces are there? But it's lacking somewhere. This started late, dragged in the middle, and by the time I got reinvested, it was over.
