An interesting story with amazing drawings/coloring.
fast-paced

I could leave a rant review but I won't but it basically felt like a 500 page book condensed into a 30 minute programme.

Time: under two hours

General Consensus: God help me, most reviews were made my fans of the author's YouTube page with them not even reading the book, by their own admission.

Good:
It's a novel concept, at the very least. A good premise, with interesting questions that pops into mind at first (but sadly never get answered in the book)
Joe Sugg, if that's your thing.

Bad:
Poor characterization - Honestly, the characters here were just plain, with nothing at all given to flesh them out throughout the story. We're given so much to work with, even if it is rather cliche, but save for a few pages at the beginning, nothing really serves as motivation for us to CARE about the characters.
At the very least, the main character's likeable.

Pace faster than an extratone track. - Imagine this. We're given the premise of a completely fake world merely made to suit the psychological needs of one person, and the implications of that. Added to that would be something that throws a wrench into all this, and it opens up with so many possible ways that it could have played out based on the characters that we were given with-
oh, and it's over
Well, that was disappointing.

Art was a tad dodgy at times, but it did the job pretty okay-ish.

It isn't a good thing when the preview to the story itself is more interesting than the entire book.

Other: I feel that if this book was longer, and if there was more time devoted to the characters, and to the story itself, that this would've been a very good book. This feels like the Cliffnotes version of a great story.

Now I'm just waiting for said story to be released.

First graphic novel I’ve read and made me want to read more!!

Meh. It was ok.

I've never read a graphic novel so I didn't know at all what to expect.
I really like Joe Sugg and always wanted to read a graphic novel just to see what the hype is all about, so when those two things came together I decided to give it a try.
So basically graphic novels are cool, I think.
Username:Evie was good, it didn't blow me away and the storyline was pretty obvious but it is a nice quick read. I can't compare it to others (since I haven't read others) but I think it was ok.
Maybe graphic novels are just not my go to.
But I think Joe Sugg put a nice book out there with a strong message.
