I loved the artwork in this book and appreciate the time and effort that went into that , however I thought the storyline was predictable and boring . if you are young you might enjoy this more ( I'm 14 )
I got this for my nephews 10th birthday but thought I'll give it a quick read to make sure it was suitable for him. After reading I have to agree with some of the other reviews that this book is very fast paced; literally there is no build up to anything that happens. Nonetheless, I somewhat enjoyed it. The story was good and is very suitable for the younger readers like my nephew.
Love the art style of this graphic novel but i'm not a big fan of the story.
I loved Joe's videos at the time I read this. I remember it had just come out and I really annoyed my parents by making them take me into Waterstones to buy it before we left for a trip.
I remember being so excited for some reason, I believe because he said it carried a plot about mental health and I wanted to read about that to discover more about my own.
I loved Joe's videos, but for this book, didn't seem to have any impact in whether I loved it or not. Because I did not like it. And I was so disappointed.
It was one of the first graphic novels I'd bought and read, and it honestly sent the tone for how I thought most graphic novels were gonna be and that made me sad because of how bad this felt at the time. Thankfully I've read amazing graphic novels now, but.. Wow.
At the time, thinking that this wasn't entertaining and kinda bland, made me feel like my money and time had been wasted.
I had a medium inkling that Joe hadn't actually done much work on this book, maybe just told someone about a few plot points he wanted and then left it to an artist and ghostwriter much like his sister Zoe. I'm not saying that's particularly bad, but it means I don't really have to feel guilty about not liking your book if it isn't yours, you know?

3.5 stars. I was very confused about halfway through? Good story though
The artwork was nice, but the story line and dialogue were shallow and didn't provide any depth or interest to the characters.
This book is was good. it was not amazing .The action scene are good and layout and design is amazing.overally this a must read.
This craphic novel is fantastic! Giant shout out to Joe Sugg aka. Thatcherjoe. Only took me 30 min. to read, thats just how amazing it is!
